Two lost souls, one powerful connection. As a Dom for Club Moon, Nick Santos uses bondage to alleviate his anger at being forcefully changed. And when he meets Gwen Waters, his carefully controlled world is turned upside-down. Through her, he'll learn what true self-control is and that being a vampire has its benefits.
Freshly divorced from an abusive ex-husband, Gwen doesn't want another domineering man. But when she meets Nick, a world she only fantasized about is laid before her. Can she trust a Dom who's also a vampire? And can Nick be the man she deserves?
I've been studying BDSM for nearly five years now. One thing I've learned is that there's a psychological aspect to it. Being a Dom is more than tying ropes, its about being in full control of yourself at all times. Its about carrying yourself with authority but not arrogance. A Dom guides his submissive to pleasure. And that's exactly what Nick plans on doing with Gwen. Once she trusts him, of course...

Carnal Moon
“So what started you in BDSM?” Gwen’s voice was tentative as she reached for her coffee. The shake in her hand was barely noticeable. So she hoped.
“There was a period early in my vampire life when I was full of anger.” Nick watched as she delicately sipped her coffee as if engrossed in her every move. “The two vampires I reside with introduced me to bondage as a form of therapy. Since I’ve always been dominant, it was a good fit for me. Through it, I learned restraint and discipline.” He gave Gwen a dry smile. “It took three decades before Gabe and Ambrose trusted me alone with a human. Whether tying someone up or drinking from them, losing control could result in serious injury. If a person is willing to entrust themselves to me, I better make damn sure to take excellent care of them.”
“Do you enjoy being a Dom?” Nick said he preferred sexual control. It was a concept she didn’t mind. How pleasant it would be to simply let him do the work. She could just enjoy the moment without worrying over doing the wrong thing.
“At Club Moon or feeding, yes.” Nick grinned. “Otherwise, I’m just asshole Nick.”
A small laugh escaped Gwen. “I don’t see that at all.”
“Gabe says differently.”
Gwen smiled as she drank her coffee. “Men enjoy harassing each other.”
“As much as Gabe aggravates me, he deserves it,” Nick grinned before growing serious. “While dominant by nature, I’m not into domineering others. It’s only within a controlled setting and with full consent.”
Gwen stared into her mug. “I’m scared I’ll make the same mistake again.” She managed to look at Nick. “Sorry I’m being so difficult.”
“Why?” Nick inclined his head. “After being married to an overly controlling man, it’s obvious you’d be wary to trust another.” He leaned closer to Gwen. “Especially since I’m a vampire and help run a fetish club.”
