Spring Tonic
Spring presents the perfect time to review your habits and patterns, giving you the opportunity to visualize them with new awareness. Your food choices should reflect this season—fresh, whole, cleansing, energizing and life-giving. When you eat foods as Nature intended (not from boxes, wrappers or cans), and add adequate exercise and rest, you are on your way to a well-lived Spring season.
Spring is the time to delight in the life of your garden. Each day brings evidence of newness. New growth, new blossoms, new pods and sprouts, new flowers and fruit and even a few edible weeds, provide the perfect Spring tonic.
I love Spring anywhere, but if I could choose I would always greet it in a garden. ~Ruth Stout, gardener, writer
