There is “LOVE” and there is "love" based on needs: • A need for attention • A need for affection • A need for acknowledgement • A need for money • A need for social status And all other needs of course. This love is not natural. It is not real. It is fabricated. It brings pain. It rests on needs, starts with needs, vacillates, and end with needs. We have created such a needy love based on cravings since we have also developed the collective belief that we are not whole without someone else. This is not true. True love can only be given through wholeness. The idea of "my other half", "my friend", or "my companion" does not suggest that you need to be completed. No! It does not mean that you are not whole or someone should make you whole. We’ve got it all wrong. You are made whole. You are not half. You are perfect. The other person is there for you to see the reflection of your natural love on his/her face when he/she learns to let you enjoy who you are and what you love doing the most. The other person is a helper, a mirror, and a witness, a bridge to help you cross the enticing river of false definitions to finally reach the truth about you. You are love. When love is born out of any sort of needs, and these needs are not met, love becomes absent.
