Book Bubbles from Forbidden Blossom

Christmas is almost here!

I couldn't be more excited. This is my favorite time of year. This year was the first time I could decorate the outside of my own house with lights. The house glows like it's summoning aliens. I couldn't be happier. When writing Forbidden Blossom I had to have Anne's new house equally lit up. This mansion she inherited was new to her and did not feel like home, but coming back from a weekend away the sight of all the lights seemed to welcome her. This was something she understood and could connect with. The magic of Christmas, the calm after a snow storm, and being the only person there to see it before other feet trampled the new snow. I hope you have a joyous holiday this season filled with family and friends.

Random acts of kindness

This excerpt is right before Anne's life changes forever. She is nervous and doesn't know why she's where she is. Jack reaches out to say hi and the simple act of acknowledging her puts her more at ease. Of course, it's only a slight sense of ease before the onslaught of new people come into her life. Every new place I've arrived at is made so much better when strangers acknowledge you and accept you into the space.

Curve ball

What would you do if you inherited a mansion? Would you move in? Invite all your family and friends? Live alone? Anne was thrown a curve ball when she found out, but what she doesn't know is there are more surprises to come. I loved the idea of someone inheriting more than anyone could ever imagine. How would that change their life? What kind of burdens would come with that?

Beginnings

She's out of college and has quit her first job. Her whole life is in front of her and she's lost like many of us are when we are set free to live on our own.
