Into the Wild of Japan

Having accomplished my lifelong goal of playing bagpipes on top of Mt. Fuji (sort of), I was able to hike all through the Japanese Alps, playing to the locals and other climbers. The interactions were very satisfying and uplifting.

Why?

Learning to play the bagpipes was an adventure in itself which led to other many other unmatched adventures. My personality which valued persistence finally was a huge benefit. And as I learned to play, I realized I wanted to share the unique strains of the bagpipes with as many people as I could. And how much fun to take the pipes around the world to interact with other cultures and local people! My life has been forever changed because of fulfilling my dream of learning how to play the bagpipes.
