Christopher Hitchens was the most eloquent and charismatic of the New Atheists and yet about God and Christianity he was very wrong. This book demonstrates how. First, it explores Hitchens' philosophy and presents it in a systematised form. Secondly, it reveals the best Christian and atheist arguments against Hitchens so far. Then it takes apart Hitchens' arguments in ways not done before. It demonstrates how God is not a tyrant, that Christianity is on the side of political freedom, that there is no basis for Hitchens' moral objectivism and finally that Christianity is a rational faith (no that is not a contradiction or oxymoron)! Have a read if you have been influenced by this erudite New Atheist who was so eloquently wrong.
