Often there's a friend you meet early in life who becomes closer than a sister. Despite your differences, you "click," and everything changes. You can tell that person anything. You want to tell her everything that happens, so the two of you can analyze it endlessly. What did Bobby X mean when he said you were cute? Was it a dismissal or an indication he might want to date you? Elvera and Cathy have that kind of friendship. It's interrupted by events and by separation, but it's the kind that picks right up again when circumstances permit. If you have a friend like that, you'll enjoy DECEIVING ELVERA.
