Getting paranormal creatures out of sticky situations spells big TROUBLE when the love of Lynlee’s life pops into the picture.
I met the hubby when I went to work for him as a student assistant in college. I never took any of his classes for credit, but I did audit a few. It's not always easy to keep students interested, especially in history courses; but one of the things I will always love about my guy is the way he always brings humor into a lesson. It keeps things entertaining AND sometimes helps folks remember it long after the class is over. And I can assure you, I will NEVER forget what the acronym PMS stands for in reference to United States history... but you'll have to read the book to find out more
My job has always been a juggling act to keep Magical And Undead Creatures out of trouble, but getting back together with my old flame is like throwing one too many balls into the mix. I’m quickly finding that romance with a guy who has two kids can get complicated. When my old mentor asks me to investigate the goings-on of a dark witch, life goes from complicated to downright messy. The witch is stalking supernatural creatures to collect ingredients for a kind of potion I can’t seem to figure out. To keep those closest to me from becoming the next victims I might have to confront the demons within myself.
I absolutely love Lynlee's snarkiness. It's completely different from my own personality, but maybe that's why I adore it so much. Yes, despite her fiery outside, Lynlee's deep down sensitive and caring. As the series progresses we get to see more and more of her "softer" side. Do you like to read characters with a little bit of snark to them?
It took some work but I’ve finally found some balance between my life as a witch and my relationship with Beck. A human boyfriend with two kids wasn’t something I ever planned, but our new arrangement lets me have my cake and eat it, too. Just when I’m getting comfortable, suddenly puzzling visions of impending danger begin to haunt my dreams. And if personal issues aren’t troubling enough, the entire organization of Neutralizers is on alert when a phantom creature begins staging magical episodes on live television. If we can’t put a stop to the sensational events, all hell will break loose in the human world. How can I keep both my new family and the world safe without getting swallowed up in the process?
