The Last Dance

Romance

Can everyone else be wrong and I’m the only one who’s right. Am I the only one who knows the truth, that no man could remain faithful to one woman. I was also too smart to get romantically involved with anyone at work. How would I deal with him if it didn’t work out? But, I did get involved with a good looking, smooth talking co-worker, and when I found him in a hotel room with a half-naked woman, I only proved to myself that I had been right all along. What a fool! What do I do now? I am hopelessly in love with him and I have no chance of avoiding him. I would see him every day at the office. How am I going to deal with this? I have to find a way. I will not quit my job. I won’t give him that satisfaction. What’s the answer? If no man can be trusted, do I spend the rest of my life alone, or continue to deal with men on a casual basis? No serious involvement. Or do I pick the best man available and live with the fact that he will cheat on me? What a life that would be. How do other women deal with it? Or, do they just close their eyes and pretend it isn’t so? I will do this. I must do this. But, I know, the hurt will never go away.

Book Bubbles from The Last Dance

Prologue

Catherine is introduced as an pretty, enlightened woman, who never has trouble finding a date when she wants one. She has a good job, nice friends and lives a very comfortable life. Her first encounter with Marc is just a quick glance when he passes her table at a restaurant. There was no indication that this man would change her life forever.

Danielle

This is the second book in a series of six. Again, this is about strong women who need strong men. Each of the first five books is about a different couple, and each story is about that couple, but they all relate back to Nick and Danielle in some way. The first five books are romance novels. The sixth book is completely different. It is a story about how Nick received a $30,000,000 windfall and how he turned that into a net worth of over a billion dollars. That one is a Terrorist Thriller. The Last Dance is all about how one disastrous relationship can shape your life and what it takes to overcome the fear.

The sisters

Alex and Riley are very close. When they meet Tony, Riley pushes her sister toward him. But, is he the man he seems to be or just another guy looking for a good time. I think this is an interesting and complicated story. It's twists and turns even surprised me. I hope you like it and vote for it on Kindle Scout.

The Mostest Man

Romance

“Who are you, Mr. Amonti?” That was one of the questions the police detective asked Nick when he interrupted their business lunch. The detective wasn’t amused with Nick’s flippant answer. After the incident at the charity banquet, the business trip to Cauldwell, and the weekend in Atlanta, Danielle was sure of three things. Nick Amonti was The Mostest Man she had ever met: She was totally in love with him: And, she had no idea who Nick Amonti really was. After overhearing a conversation in the company breakroom, Danielle was determined to find out. But she had to wonder if a relationship with this man would be a fairy tale come true, or a frightful nightmare? Is Danielle prepared for the answer? Is she capable of dealing with truth? Will Danielle still believe that Nick is The Mostest Man she has ever met? And is she willing to gamble with losing herself for the rest of her life to find out? As Danielle stared into the eyes of that beautiful, elegant woman on the television screen, a woman who in another time could have been her, she searched for the answer.

Book Bubbles from The Mostest Man

I must let this man know how I feel.

After a number of incidents, Danielle finally realizes that this man is something special. But just like her niece Anna Lee, she can't find the words to tell him. She decides that action is called for and on the trip from Cauldwell, Georgia to Atlanta Danielle makes her feeling known. But, Nick is cautious. He has fallen in love with Danielle, but he knows there care never be anything meaningful between them. Danielle overcomes his objections and the spent a very romantic weekend together.

The beginning

I have been told that the book starts slowly and picks up in Cauldwell. This chapter is on the way out of Cauldwell. A number of things happened while Nick and Danielle were in her home town. These circumstances are the reason Danielle decided that Nick was The Mostest Man she had ever met and this is the reason she decided that she wanted to be " "intimate with such a man." But, she had rules. Nick changed those rules and Danielle was glad he had.

My protector?

The two incidents with Billy in Georgia made Danielle believe that Nicholas was watching out for her. Now, she finds out that it wasn't specifically her he was protecting. It seems Nicholas was a Knight in Shining Amour to any female in jeopardy. This incident with the Police Detectives make Danielle wonder if what happened in Cauldwell and Atlanta had anything to do with her at all, or was it just part of Nicholas’ nature.
