Grandad’s Old Clock, Poems & Memories (second edition) includes both poetry and prose. Sea Ranch and California’s North Coast—including Mendocino, idyllic meadows, coastal seas and Bene Bufano’s Peace sculpture—trace through some of the book’s poems. There are poems by friends, silly stuff and poems for guys too. The author’s 9/11 tribute to those who died aboard United Airlines Flight 93 is included. The book, in part, sketches many of the writer’s memories with his wife, Mary, and is dedicated to her.

Flight 93 (the 40)
I wrote this poem in 2016 as a tribute to those who died aboard United Airlines Flight 93 on September 11, 2001. It’s been 24 years since the United States was brutally attacked and we should never forget: I hope we never forget that day. I hope we never forget the first responders. I hope we never forget those who died. I hope we never forget United Airlines Flight 93. Those are my thoughts today just as they were when I wrote Flight 93 (the 40).
