Racing through a forest there is a blinding flash of light that throws Hugo and his companions high up into the air. They fall heavily onto the ground. As they pick themselves up they can see a tall, crackling column of light that stretches up into the sky. Suddenly a stream of arrows shoot towards them from the column, followed by a number of strange beings. They point at Hugo and a strange language explodes inside his head, and he falls unconsciously onto the ground. The beings drag him back and into the column of light. But where to?
