Although his uncle had died fighting Syrians in Israel’s 1948 War of Independence, Jewish detective Aaron Guerevich investigates the murders of two Syrian-American Muslims. His life is imperiled by a secret anti-Arab vigilante group and his investigation uncovers a long-hidden connection between his uncle and the family of the slain Muslims.
