The Names of Demons

In this excerpt, you will hear from the character Marq, a demon of bitterness, talking about other demons who may have surrounded Herod the Great after he decided to sacrifice the innocent babies in his rabid search for the child, Jesus. Marq sheds two clues to be able to recognize the work of the demonic in people's lives. 1. "The look on his face and his actions." Have you ever looked at someone and saw pure evil? 2. "Convincing humans to do the wrong thing using their own self-righteousness...if they have pride & regret." Satans favorite weapon from the beginning of time is pride. Using and understanding the names and actions of the demonic, as Jesus did, is a powerful arsenal for freedom. I enjoy being able to add strategies for spiritual understanding to my stories.

High Priest Annas on Meeting Jesus

Have you ever wondered what it would have been like to talk directly to Jesus when he was here in the flesh walking the earth? In this excerpt The High Priest Annas is talking about the moment he met Jesus. I imagined Annas could have met him at age 12 when Jesus was hanging at the Temple for three days before Mary & Joseph realized Jesus had ran off to be in his Fathers House. Here Annas is jealous of Jesus from the first minute they met. If the all knowing Jesus was displaying his knowledge at age 12 can you imagine how ignorant the well educated priests would have felt? The controversy Jesus would have stirred up had to be huge. Much bigger than described in scripture. This was a great jumping off point for my novel.

Ignorance is Not Bliss

Have you ever had a topic that you avoided because you figured the less you know about it, the better off you will be? For me, that topic was demons. People use the word "demon" all the time for something they need to slay or overcome. They become friendly with their demons and learn to live with them. I decided a long time ago I was not interested in believing lies. In this excerpt, Joel recognizes guilt but has no idea its demonic. He is about to learn more about the spiritual world than he ever thought possible.

Godhead & The Key of David

The Key of David belongs to Jesus. He can give it to whoever he wants. The person who has this key, Isaiah says, "He shall open, and none shall shut; and he shall shut, and none shall open." This key gives you authority in the heaven and on earth. It's a gift to understand your authority in the spiritual realms and be able to walk in that authority with confidence.
