The "Beginning" introduces Helena to Rhodes and the temptation she faces with Dimitris. We follow the tourist trail until she purchases an odd little photograph of a child. It becomes obvious that by asking questions about this photo and the child gets strange reactions, and even threats to the women if they continue. Following the clues that must be followed to end, the threats lead to violence and more questions. The relationships between the parties involved become strained as warnings are not heeded. Asking questions brings up the possibility of murder and organized crime, and secrets that reach far beyond the local government.
