Kelly stops by to see Dean and get in a little more practice kissing so it'll look natural to Kelly's mom. I love their banter here as Kelly gives Dean a hard time for leaving his window unlocked. They play off each other so well, I kept a permanent grin on my face during my writing sessions.
Convincing Mom
I wanted to show, early in, what a difficult time Kelly is having getting his mom to accept he's gay. I was setting the stage as to WHY he needed to find someone to pretend to be his fiancee. His dad was easy. He's laid back and very accepting, but his mom? If this story has a villain, it's her. And Dean plays off her perfectly... but that comes later in the story. You're gonna love him.
