I plan on renaming this book to From the Ashes because that is exactly where God found me. I wasn't just in the ashes, I was ashes. Although I accepted Christ when I five, it took 30 years of multiple tragedies before I finally learned that no matter what, God is in control. He has stripped away all of my fears and together we reimagined the person I would become.
